NoyNoy Aquino for Presiden???

Noynoy Aquino for President??? Come on!

I don’t think Noynoy should go for President. He may get a high percentage on the surveys against other hopeful Philippine president in 2010, but I think that’s just because people are still overwhelmed and excited of the Cory Aquino’s passing. People honoured her, loved her, praised her. I for one also regard her as real hero, a good image, a good mother, but it doesn’t mean that I could go for Noynoy as President. He isn’t thinking of running when Madam Corazon Aquino is still alive so what’s the rush now? Maybe he should try Senator again, if he got the number one spot, that’s good. Maybe then he can run for the next presidency election, or try Vice President. Who knows he may gain more experience and more chance there. Besides what’s his reason for running? Isn’t it to help people? Continue what their parents have done? Maybe there are ways to do just that without having the seat. He was just being used. His parents’ goodwill being used by some selfish, corrupt people who don’t have no desire but to gain personally.

Benigno ‘Ninoy’ Aquino Jr. who was assassinated during the Marcos Regime and first female Philippine President Corazon ‘Cory’ Aquino who just died this August 2009 of colon cancer. Both parents are well known, respected and both made a history to the country.

I’m not exactly against Noynoy, but the current situation makes me think that he was used, the Aquino family was used politically, taking advantage of the people’s current bearings and sympathys’. But maybe he could really make a change to the government, who knows? Let’s wait and see.
