Homemade Skin Care Beauty Tips

Want a soft, gentle skin but on a tight budget? Want a smooth skin without the touch of a doctor? Then let me share this with you. We are on the same side of the boat.

I found this tips from a newspaper. A tabloid actually. After reading I though there would be no harm in trying. Beside there is no danger there. It is a natural way and besides, the material is free.

This tip is for exfoliating your skin without buying any branded products.

Here's the simple, easy steps.

  1. Before you take a bath, cut a lime (dayap in tagalog)  and rub it to your whole body - that is - before you get wet.
  2. Massage your stomach, arms, chest and neck with half of the lime.  Use the remaining half of the lime for the remaining part of your body.
  3. Then that's it. Leave it to your skin for awhile atleast 5-10 minutes.
  4. You will feel that your skin will tighten a bit and the lime juice you rub on your skin will dry out.
  5. You can now take your bath.

I have tried this a few times now. And it really is effective. You can feel the smoothness of your skin after your bath. Maybe that's because lime contains enzymes that digest the dead layers of skin, leaving behind a silky smoth finish.

Let me know your experience. (^.^)

Safe & Sound Lyrics

Are you a fan of the book "The Hunger Games"? Then, I am sure you are going to watch the movie?? If you do, you are surely familiar with this song...

Safe & Sound
(sung by one of my favorite singer)
(Taylor Swift ft. The Civil Wars)

I remember tears streaming down your face
When I said, I'll never let you go

When all those shadows almost killed your light
I remember you said, Don't leave me here alone
But all that's dead and gone and passed tonight

Just close your eyes
The sun is going down
You'll be alright
No one can hurt you now
Come morning light
You and I'll be safe and sound

Don't you dare look out your window darling
Everything's on fire
The war outside our door keeps raging on
Hold onto this lullaby
Even when the music's gone

Just close your eyes
The sun is going down
You'll be alright
No one can hurt you now
Come morning light
You and I'll be safe and sound

Just close your eyes
You'll be alright
Come morning light,
You and I'll be safe and sound...

Oh the lyrics were just so sweet. I couldn't imagine someone sang that to me. They were so comforting, inspiring and sad. :((
